Follow UsAhead of the full-blown Ashes, England and Australia’s Governor General’s XI will kick off against each other in a one-day international (ODI) warm-up fixture in Sydney on January 9. The clash is scheduled to begin at 4:35 AM IST.
North Sydney Oval will host the one-off clash, with Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Heather Knight, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Alyssa Healy, and Tess Flintoff all set to be part of the clash. While England is expected to field their strongest XI, Australia’s Governor General’s XI squad will comprise most teenagers who proved their worth at the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).
