Guyana Amazon Warriors will be entering CPL 2025 hoping to continue their good form as they have had two great seasons back-to-back, winning their first championship in 2023 while finishing as runners up in 2024. They are the most consistent team in CPL history having reached the final seven times, which is the most for any team.
The evergreen leggie Imran Tahir will be leading the side once again with the likes of Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer and Romario Shepherd being other notable Caribbean talent.
Among overseas signings, they have signed Australian top-order batter Ben McDermott. They also have exciting young talents in Quentin Sampson and Riyad Latiff.

Quentin Sampson
Quentin Sampson is a 25-year-old lower-order hitter. He had an excellent SR in the domestic T20 tournament 'Breakout T20 League' where he scored 89 runs in five innings at a SR of 162, often batting at #7. He provides a right-arm medium pace bowling option as well, giving a sixth bowling option to the captain.
Riyad Latiff
Riayd Latiff is an 18-year-old leg spinner who first came to limelight in the Breakout T20 league earlier this year. He picked a four-wicket haul there, helping the Guyana team win their only game in the tournament. Under Imran Tahir, he will be having a great opportunity to learn and develop.
