Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) welcomed Australian bowling superstar Josh Hazlewood to their camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Posting on X, they wrote, “With line and length so tight and true, Josh Hazlewood is coming through! 🤌🔥Welcome home, Hoff! 🏡♥️.”
Hazlewood, who missed out on the last season due to an injury, was picked by the RCB for INR 12.5 Cr in the IPL 2025 mega auction in November last year. Since then, he has been injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as well. But it seems that now everything is fine, and he is fully fit for the IPL.
The 34-year-old made his IPL debut with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2020 and joined the RCB in 2022. That was Hazlewood's best season, as he picked up 20 wickets in just 12 matches.
This season, too, RCB will be hoping for nothing less than a great showing from the Aussie pacer, as he is one of the most experienced people in the ranks. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal are his two probable partners in the RCB playing 11.
