The home side also made as many as three changes to their lineup, taking out Alice Davidson-Richards, Kate Cross and Lauren Filer, while bringing in Maia Bouchier, Em Arlott and Linsey Smith. As a result, they will now go in with a much longer batting lineup in the game, with Charlie Dean batting as low as number 10 in this game.
The Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur acknowledged the challenge to bat first on a covered pitch as Indiai lost the seventh toss in a row on this tour.
