India vs England, 3rd Test Day Five at Lord's Weather: Will Rain Ruin A Thrilling Finish?

There has been no rain delay at Lord's so far across the first four days

We are in for a thrilling finish at Lord's as India need another 135 runs to win, while England are chasing six wickets on Day 5 to take a lead in the five-match Test series. With the amount of runs left in the match, we should ideally not go into the final session on the final day, with a result imminent before the tea break.

Regardless, we are in for another bright and sunny day in London. However, the chances of precipitation go up to 15% at about 3 PM local time, by which time we should ideally have a result.

The temperatures will be a pleasant 21°C to 24°C throughout the day. We have not had any delay due to rain in this match, and it promises to be the same on the final day.

India have been set 193 to win the Test, but they lost four wickets in the final session to give England the edge. However, the good news for India is that they still have KL Rahul batting well on 33, and he will be joined by Rishabh Pant tomorrow (July 14), and the duo will once again look to give India some stability.

Earlier, Washington Sundar picked up four wickets to bundle England out for 192. The hosts lost their last six wickets for just 38 runs, which they very well could end up regretting.

The five-match Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy is currently level at 1-1. England won the first Test at Headingley by five wickets, but India bounced back to win the next match at Edgbaston by 336 runs.
