Garton played nine matches for the Souther Brave in the recently concluded 'The Hundred' finishing with 10 wickets in the tournament to help his side win the title. He has been in good form in the T20 Blast as well, picking up nine wickets from six matches at an economy rate of 7.50.Â
RCB have been forced to make plenty of changes to their squad with Daniel Sams, Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson making themselves unavailable for the tournament. Furthermore, New Zealand duo of Finn Allen and Scott Kuggeleijn are away with their national sides.Â
The Virat Kohli-led side had made an excellent start to the tournament, having won five of their seven matches so far. The second leg of the IPL 2021 is set to be played from September onwards and RCB will be in action the following day against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Abu Dhabi.
