Washington Sundar and Sai Sudharsan were going great guns and had put Gujarat Titans (GT) in a commendable position in pursuit of 229 against Mumbai Indians (MI). However, it took a special delivery from Jasprit Bumrah to break the partnership, as he bowled a toe-crushing yorker to Sundar and shattered the stumps.
Sundar was just two runs away from his maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) fifty, but he was denied thanks to one of the best deliveries of the tournament. The GT all-rounder was close to a fifty earlier this season, when he scored 49 off 29 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Hyderabad.

Bumrah's wicket brought an end to an 84-run stand off just 44 deliveries for the third wicket to bring MI back into the game.
GT are chasing 229 to win and stay alive in the tournament. The winner of this match will take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 2 on June 1 (Sunday). The winner of that game will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 final on June 3 (Tuesday).
