Earlier, KKR won the toss, and they decided to have a bowl. Shivam Dube top-scored for them with an unbeaten 31 off 29, which pushed the total past 100. Vijay Shankar also chipped in with a useful 29 off 21.
For KKR, Sunil Narine was the pick of the bowlers with 3/13. Varun Chakaravarthy and Harshit Rana, too, chipped in with a couple of wickets. CSK have not made an ideal start to IPL 2025, having won just one of their five matches so far.
