It took Phil Salt and Virat Kohli just one game as an opening pair for them to register the second-highest powerplay score in Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)’s history against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 22 (Saturday). The duo smashed 80 runs in the powerplay, which also happens to be the highest-ever score when RCB have lost zero wickets inside the powerplay.
