Virat Kohli is the only batter to have played all 18 editions of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for a single team and that team is Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Former RCB batting star and the current batting coach Dinesh Karthik lavished praise on Kohli, saying that he is too small a person to talk about him.
"Virat Kohli, what do you tell about him? There's a loss for words purely because of the hunger that he has," Karthik said in a video shared by the franchise.
"It's one thing to play IPL for 18 years, but it's a different thing to be consistent for 18 years. The way he adapts, understands situations... I'm too small a person to even speak about it. He's an absolute champion," Karthik added.
RCB registered their first win of the season at home on April 25 (Thursday), when they beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 11 runs. They currently sit in third position on the IPL 2025 table with six wins from nine matches so far.
