IPL 2025: Who Holds The Orange Cap And Purple Cap After Match 60
The orange cap changed hands within hours of the tournament's restart
The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) is underway after an enforced week-long break, and well, normalcy resumed immediately with the orange cap changing hands in the span of two hours.
Unlike the orange cap, however, the purple cap did not change hands, with the same individual keeping hold of it.
While a certain fast bowler from Gujarat Titans (GT) looks the firm favourite to walk away with the purple cap, the race for the orange cap is incredibly tight, with as many as seven batters firmly in contention to win the honour.
Here’s how the race for the orange and purple cap looks like.

GT’s Sai Sudharsan regained the Orange Cap for the zillionth time in IPL 2025 today, in the midst of the clash against Delhi Capitals (DC).
