England batter Jason Roy on August 10 (Sunday), achieved a unique feat which only three other players from his country have done. During the game against Birmingham Phoenix, Roy took the catch to dismiss Joe Clark off the bowling of Jofra Archer, to register his 200th catch in T20 cricket.
Among England players, only James Vince (252), Alex Hales (242) and Chris Jordan (210) have taken more catches. Kieron Pollard holds the record for the most catches in the shortest format with 392 catches.
David Miller (318), Dwayne Bravo (275), Glenn Maxwell (258), Vince (252), Alex Hales (242), Shoaib Malik (238), Andre Russell (230), Mohammad Nabi (214), Faf du Plessis (211), Jordan (210), David Warner (202) and Roy (200) are the only fielders with 200 or more catches in T20s.
Roy's side, Southern Brave, went on to win the match quite comfortably by nine wickets with him remaining unbeaten on 18 off 12 in the chase. The Brave have won both their matches in The Hundred so far.
