Virat Kohli, who has been in brilliant form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, hit yet another fifty, his 60th in his IPL career, to break the records of Pakistan’s Babar Azam and his fellow teammate from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), West Indian Chris Gayle, in one go.
With this fifty, the 36-year-old now has 62 fifty-plus scores batting first, beating Babar’s record of 61 fifties batting first in the shortest format.
