Mumbai Indians' Premier Pacer Confirms His Availability For Remainder Of IPL 2025

This will come as a huge boost for MI, who are struggling with the availability of their overseas players

Mumbai Indians (MI)’s left-arm seamer Trent Boult will be back for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, reported ESPNcricinfo.

The 36-year-old from New Zealand was in stunning form before the tournament was suspended. Boult has 18 wickets in 12 games at an average of 19.88 and is MI’s leading wicket-taker this season. Only Prasidh Krishna and Noor Ahmad have more wickets than Boult in the IPL 2025.

This will come as a huge boost for MI, who are struggling with the availability of their overseas players for the remainder of the tournament, which is set to restart on May 17 (Saturday).

Ryan Rickelton and Corbin Bosch have been named in the South Africa squad for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, while Will Jacks is part of the England squad for the ODI series against West Indies.

As a result, these three could very well miss the playoffs, which will get underway on May 29.

MI lost four of their first five encounters but won six games in a row to put themselves in a good position to qualify for the playoffs. Hardik Pandya and Co. have seven wins in 12 games and are currently at No.4 on the IPL 2025 points table.
