Follow UsGujarat Titans’ (GT) skipper Shubman Gill cleared the air, stating that there’s ‘nothing but love’ between him and Hardik Pandya after their 20-run loss against Mumbai Indians, on May 30 (Friday) in Mullanpur.
The rumours started to spread after videos of Gill ignoring Pandya’s handshake at the toss began trending. In that video, Gill is seen ignoring Pandya and walking past him without any interaction.
Furthermore, in the clash, Gill got out for a two-ball one, after which the MI skipper celebrated wildly in front of him. It made the internet believe that the two have a rift between them, only days after similar rumours surrounding Shreyas Iyer and Pandya.
Gill, however, cleared the air on Instagram, putting an end to all the rumours. As it turned out, Gujarat were knocked out by Mumbai in the Eliminator, with the five-time IPL champions now setting up a date with PBKS, on June 1 (Sunday) in Ahmedabad.
