Since his shift from Ireland to England, Eoin Morgan has been one of the most successful players for England in the limited-overs format.

He was already the highest run-scorer for his country in both ODIs and T20Is, but in the third T20I, he set foot at another landmark. Morgan featured for the 100th time in a T20I and became the fourth player overall to achieve this feat.
KL Rahul registers consecutive ducks
It is an agonizing aspect to see one of the most consistent batsmen of India, struggling to score. Let alone scoring, KL Rahul is struggling to get off the mark. In his last four T20I innings, Rahul has suffered three ducks, out of which two have come in his last two innings.

When he scored a solitary run in the first T20I, that was the first time he had back-to-back single-digit innings in the shortest format. This was the first time an Indian opener registered consecutive ducks in T20Is.
Virat Kohli unleashes beast mode
With runs behind him, Virat Kohli always looks a different player. Losing partners at one end saw him start slow. But once he got his eye in, he was in a completely different player. Kohli scored an unbeaten 77 in the third T20I. The best part of it was, 49 of those runs came in the last five overs of the innings.

In the first 30 balls had a strike rate of 106.67, but after that, he walloped runs at a monstrous strike rate 281.3. The 49 runs scored by Kohli in the last five overs is the second joint-most for an Indian batsman in that phase in T20Is.
Jos Buttler becomes the second-highest scorer for England
It is a well-known fact that Jos Buttler is one of the most destructive batsmen in the limited-overs format. However, in T20Is for England or a few of the franchises, Buttler is known for his opening.

Starting off as a finisher, Buttler didn’t get too many chances to prove his mettle. Since the time he has opened for England, Buttler has scored 666 runs at a staggering average of 51.2 and a strike rate of 153. With a lot of opportunities, Buttler has risen among the batsmen of England. He went past Alex Hales' record of 1644 to become the second leading run-scorer for his country.
Jos Buttler registers his highest T20I score
Buttler entered the records book of England in three categories in the third T20I. First up, when he reached his half-century, which was the 11th score of over fifty. He has the second-most 50+ scores among England batsmen, surpassing Dawid Malan (10).

Then when he reached 65 runs, Buttler became the second-highest runs scorer for England. The last one being his personal milestone. When he reached 78, he had registered his highest T20I score. By the end of the innings, Buttler had scored an unbeaten 83 to steer England a win, which helped them take a 2-1 lead in the series.
England register six consecutive successful chases
England have stuck to their strength which is chasing. The last 18 times England skipper, Eoin Morgan has won the toss, he has chosen to field on all occasions. Since 2018, they have been one of the most successful teams when it comes to chasing, winning 73.6 percent of the matches.

In the last six matches, England have chased, they have been unbreached. This is their second-longest streak of wins while chasing in T20Is. In 2010, they had won seven consecutive matches chasing.
