Pakistan spin bowling allrounder Mohammad Nawaz has been ruled out of the three-match Test series against Australia next month due to a foot injury. The selectors have not named a replacement for the left-armer.
Keeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed and pacer Naseem Shah have been added to the traveling reserves alongside Mohammad Haris, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Abbas and Yasir Shah.
With the first Test starting in Rawalpindi on March 4, players who are not involved in the Pakistan Super League 2022 playoffs will join the Test specialists for the preparatory camp in Islamabad. They will begin the training on Sunday after three-day mandatory isolation.
Karachi will host the second Test from March 12-16 and third Test will be played in Lahore from March 21-25.
