NEWSIndia batsmen Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav have completed their 10-day hard quarantine and have joined the Indian team at Lord's. The BCCI confirmed the news by posting a photo of them sitting together in the Lord's balcony.

The duo were part of India's limited-overs tour of Sri Lanka but missed the last two T20Is as they were considered to be close contacts of Krunal Pandya, who had tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, there was a tad delay in their travel plans, but they managed to board the flight from Sri Lanka on August 3.
Shaw and Yadav were added to the squad after injuries to Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Avesh Khan. India also suffered a further setback after Mayank Agarwal was ruled out of the first Test at Trent Bridge after Mohammed Siraj knocked his head during the nets.
Mayank's injury paved way for KL Rahul to open the innings and he has made the most of it scoring a fifty in Nottingham and followed that up with a magnificent centuty in the second Test at Lord's.
With India's middle-order looking a tad shaky, we could see the likes of Yadav or Hanuma Vihari considered for the upcoming matches.
