Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) women's player Shreyanka Patil will miss the India A women's tour of Australia, starting August 7 in Mackay. Along with Shreyanka, another Indian spinner, Priya Mishra, will also miss the tour. The two were initially part of the squads for the multi-format tour.
Mishra was in the One-Day and Four-Day squads while Shreyanka was part of the T20 squad. Both players are at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, recovering from injuries.
"Both players remain under the care of the BCCI Medical Team at the Centre of Excellence and are currently undergoing their Return-to-Play protocols," ESPNcricinfo quoted BCCI as saying in a statement.
To replace Shreyanka and Mishra, BCCI have roped in Bengal batter Dhara Gujjar and Uttarakhand all-rounder Prema Rawat into the all-format squads. Yastika Bhatia, who used to be a regular for the Indian senior team, has also been included in the one-day squad.
Radha Yadav has been named as the all-format captain of the tour. Shafali Verma is the other big name part of the all-format squads.
