According to the Indian Express, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has approved Yashasvi Jaiswal's request to withdraw his No-Objection Certificate (NOC) application.
In April, the Indian opener had sought an NOC from Mumbai to join Goa for the next domestic season but changed his mind in May.
MCA president Ajinkya Naik confirmed to the Indian Express, "We have accepted Jaiswal's withdrawal of NOC application, and he will be available for Mumbai during the forthcoming domestic season."
Previously, Jaiswal had expressed excitement about a leadership opportunity in Goa when seeking the NOC. However, he later decided against the move.
In his withdrawal request, Jaiswal wrote, “I the undersigned would request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans in shifting to Goa which for now has been curtailed!
“So I sincerely request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season! I have not submitted the NOC to BCCI nor to Goa Cricket Association.”
Currently, Jaiswal is in England playing in the five-match Test series.
