SA20 2025: Sunrisers Eastern Cape probable playing 11, full squad, schedule, match timings in IST

Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) will enter the third season of SA20, focusing on achieving the unique milestone of becoming the first cricket team to win the first three seasons of a T20 competition. 

Aiden Markram will lead the side, with Marco Jansen and Tristan Stubbs being the big local names. The overseas pool is filled with exciting English talents, with the likes of Zak Crawley, Craig Overton, and Richard Gleeson joining the Gqeberha franchise with Tom Abell and Liam Dawson, who had a good season in 2024. Roelof van der Merwe will return to SA20 after missing out on the previous season. 

The bowling line up will be headed by Ottneil Baartman managing the pace attack along with Patrick Kruger, Andile Siumelane and Beyers Swanepoel. Simon Harmer and Liam Dawson will be key spinners in the side. Two rookies will be expected to make a mark as fast bowler Okuhle Cele and wicketkeeper batter Daniel Smith will be playing their first SA20 season.
