Follow UsAmid security concerns raised by the Sri Lankan players during the Pakistan-Sri Lanka three-match ODI series, Pakistan ODI captain Shaheen Shah Afridi hosted a dinner at a roof-top restaurant in the capital city of Islamabad. The party included players of Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe alongside Pakistan.
The video of the party was shared by Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza on his official social media page, and players from all three countries can be seen eating great food and enjoying the company of each other.
The party was a curtain-raiser for the T20I Tri-Series which will feature all three teams and begin on November 18th with hosts Pakistan taking on Zimbabwe at the Rawalpindi Stadium in Rawalpindi.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in co-ordination with the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had alleviated the concerns of Sri Lanka players and as a result, no one returned back home and the ODI series.
