Senior opening batter Shikhar Dhawan has been named as the captain of the Indian team for the ODI series against West Indies starting on July 22 in Trinidad.
Ravindra Jadeja has been picked as the vice-captain of the side, with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah being rested.
The team will compete in three ODI matches and five T20I games as a part of their build-up to the upcoming World Cup in Australia later this year.
The BCCI is yet to announce the squad for the T20I series, which is set to start on July 29 at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.
