The Gujarat Titans skipper scored 43 off 46 deliveries against Mumbai Indians

Shubman Gill, on May 6 (Tuesday), played the third-slowest knock (at least 40 balls faced) by a captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper scored 43 off 46 deliveries in Match 56 of the IPL 2025 against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium.

Chasing a target of 156, Gill operated at a strike rate of 93.47 before getting knocked over by MI’s ace paceman Jasprit Bumrah.
