Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill revealed that South African paceman Kagiso Rabada will take 10 more days before rejoining the squad for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
The Titans have won four of their six fixtures in the IPL 2025 and are playing Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on April 19 (Saturday).
Rabada played the first two games before returning to South Africa. Ahead of the game against DC, GT assistant coach Ashish Kapoor said: "We are just waiting for him. He might return. He's got some family, personal problems for which he's gone. Once he's sorted out with that, if its sorted out in time, he will be back. But we don't know when. We are just waiting as everyone is."
Kapoor didn’t provide a clear update, but Gill did at the toss: “Rabada is hopefully going to be back in the next 10 days.”
GT are scheduled to play Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) over the next 10 days, meaning Rabada could miss these matches before making his return.
