We have an exciting season of The Hundred coming up, with eyes on plenty of stars. We take a look at a few Mumbai Indians (MI) players from the Indian Premier League (IPL) to watch out for.
Mitchell Santner had a good season with the ball for MI in IPL 2025, finishing with 10 scalps at an economy rate of under eight. The New Zealand spinner has always bowled a tight line and length, and it will be interesting to see how he goes in a further shortened format like The Hundred. He has eight wickets at an ER of 7.24 in the tournament.
Known to be the best powerplay bowler in the world, Trent Boult was MI's highest wicket-taker in the IPL last season with 22 scalps, conceding at almost nine an over. The left-arm pacer provides an exhibition up front, which some of the best batters have failed to negotiate. He has played in every league in the world, but this will be his maiden season in The Hundred. The spectators are in for a treat.
Will Jacks' off-spinner provided vital breakthroughs for Hardik Pandya's team last season, but it is what he can do with the bat at the top of the order that makes him even more dangerous. Jacks hit 233 runs at a strike rate of 135.46 for MI in 2025. He hasn't done all that bad in The Hundred as well, scoring 790 runs (SR 162.21) and has also chipped in with 14 wickets (Econ 6.52).
