However, in the same clash, just hours later, Rizwan’s hundred was overshadowed by an even better century by James Vince, who hit 101 off 43 balls. Vince’s efforts helped Karachi Kings chase 235 with four balls to spare.
Vince bagged the official ‘Player of the Match’ award for his efforts, but he also got a special award later, in the Karachi Kings dressing room.
Vince, at the dressing room, was awarded with the Dawlance ‘Reliable Player of the Match’ award, for which he was given a Hair Dryer.
The entire dressing room was in splits as Vince collected the award and even cheered for him in an ironic fashion. Vince, while collecting the award, had a cheeky little smile on his face as well.
