Josh Inglis was in a mood on May 4 (Sunday), as he hit Mayank Yadav for a hat-trick of sixes at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala, batting for Punjab Kings (PBKS) against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
It was in the second over of the innings that Mayank, the speedster, started his first spell of the game and bowled a short of length ball. He was pulled for six over mid-wicket. The second ball, the same length, fetched the same result.
On the third ball though, Avesh Khan, who should have been on the boundary ropes, was almost 10 meters inside and failed to judge a catch resulting in three sixes in row for Inglis against Mayank.
Earlier, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first, making one change, bringing in Akash Singh in place of Ravi Bishnoi in their playing 11.
