Virat Kohli played one of the slowest knocks in IPL 2025 as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) chased down a middling target of 163 against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 27 (Sunday) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. He scored just 51 off 47 balls.
Delhi is Virat’s home ground, and KL Rahul, who currently plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket, has his home ground in Bengaluru, where RCB are based. In a clash against the RCB, Rahul played a match-winning knock and celebrated that with the Kantara-style move of ‘This is My Land’.
Virat, in a post-match catch-up with Rahul after his team’s win on April 27 (Sunday), said that he had also planned a similar celebration, but Rahul replied to it with a casual ‘Accha Hai Out Ho Gaya’, meaning, Good that you got out before celebrating the win.
Kohli even did a small Kantara celebration by disturbing the huddle of three Karnataka players -Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal and Karun Nair -on the ground.
