Former India captain and head coach Rahul Dravid got into a heated argument with an auto driver on the streets of Bengaluru. According to a report on IANS, the goods auto bumped into his car from behind on Cunningham Road at around 6.30 PM on February 4 (Tuesday).
The report also added that Dravid was driving from Indian Express Junction towards High Grounds when the incident occurred. Dravid, who is known for his calm nature on and off the field, also took the auto driver's number and noted down the vehicle's registration number before leaving the scene. However, no case has been filed.
Dravid, one of India's finest batters, scored over 24,000 international runs and also led his country in the 2007 World Cup.
He was the head coach of the side that won the T20 World Cup last year. He did not extend his contract beyond the tournament with Gautam Gambhir taking over the reins.
However, he will play a similar role in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he has agreed to take over as head coach of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) side.
