When Will Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma Play For India Next?

The fans have to wait just a little over a month to watch the veteran batters back in action

Having retired from T20 Internationals (T20I), Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's Australia tour has come to an end. They ended it with a bang as Rohit scored his 33rd One-Day International (ODI) century, while Kohli slammed an unbeaten 74 at SCG after failing to get off the mark in the first two games.

With the ODI leg of the tour done and dusted, the action shifts to the T20I series, starting on October 29 (Wednesday).

While some of the big names like Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, Shivam Dube and Samju Samson, among others, return to the squad, the fans will have to wait a little longer to see Kohli and Rohit back in the Indian team.

However, they will be back for India's next ODI assignment, which is against South Africa at home. The first ODI will be played on November 30 in Ranchi. The action will then shift to Raipur (December 3) and conclude in Visakhapatnam (December 6).

Shubman Gill got his first win as ODI captain in Sydney, thanks to Kohli and Rohit's unbeaten 168-run stand, and will hope to get his first series win under his belt against South Africa.

With the veteran batters playing just the ODI format, we can expect them to feature in all three matches.
