A 7 year old cricket fan’s journey which began with seeing Dhoni clobbering the bowlers in the 2005-06 Pakistan tour reached adulthood when Dhoni retired in 2020. The love for words and storytelling combined with the aim of bringing out the human from within the athletes in my writing and a budding cricket writer was born. Now I run my own cricket page on Instagram and Facebook called Cricket Beyond Entertainment. The journey of writing has reached this new destination now in the shape of cricket.com.
