The final of the World Test Championship has lived up to all the hype and expectations as India and Australia are involved in a riveting battle to clinch the mace at The Oval in London.
After four days of hard-fought cricket, the match will be decided on the final day as Australia need seven wickets to win, and India need to score 280 runs more in their pursuit of 444.
While the game was played in the right spirit all through the Test match, there was a certain moment just before tea on Day four that divided the cricket fans.
On the first ball of the eighth over, Cameron Green held onto a low diving catch to dismiss Shubman Gill, which many fans believe was a brave call by the third umpire.
In the post-match press conference, Mohammed Shami shared his views on the catch and said, "This is part of the game. The umpires take a call. So, it is part of the game. We don't think too much."
"One could have taken some time, as it's the World Test Championship final, not a normal match that you let go. It should have been checked better, zoomed in," he added.
The right-arm pacer also stated that the dressing room believes they can chase down 444 runs in the fourth innings to etch history because of the team's never-say-die attitude.
"100% everyone believes that tomorrow we will win the match. Because we have always fought. We perform well around the world, not only here. So, we believe, and we always come together to win this match."
"It doesn't matter what happened in Sydney or Brisbane. We are now playing here. We have to think about tomorrow, and we will win the match. According to me, if you bat well, 280 runs - is not too much to get."
"You should focus on playing ball by ball. You should not look at the long goals. So, chances of success are higher when you keep small goals and targets," he concluded.
