Deepti, Lanning & Healy Headline Marquee List Of WPL 2026 Mega Auction

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 Mega Auction is just a week away, and anticipation is building for what will be the first major player rejig in WPL history, following the tournament’s launch three years ago.
Plenty of big names will be up for grabs in the mega auction, and amidst all the anticipation, the BCCI has revealed the marquee list for the auction, which will feature all the major superstars who have been released by their respective franchises.
According to both ESPNCricinfo and Cricbuzz, as many as eight players will fall under the marquee list, and the names are as follows:
> Sophie Devine
> Sophie Ecclestone
> Alyssa Healy
> Amelia Kerr
> Meg Lanning
> Deepti Sharma
> Renuka Singh
> Laura Wolvaardt
Six of the eight players in this list are believed to have a base price of 50 lakh, with Wolvaardt (30L) and Renuka (40L) the only exceptions.
At ₹14.50 crore, UP Warriorz (who let go of Deepti, Healy and Ecclestone) have the biggest purse so they will be prime contenders to snap up in-demand players such as Wolvaardt and Kerr.
The franchise might even go after Lanning, considering they need a captain as well. It’s worth noting that Lanning is in top form right now, being the highest run-getter in the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League edition. It was only a few hours ago that the retired Australian skipper smashed 135 for Melbourne Stars Women.

The auction will take place in New Delhi on November 27 (Thursday).
