India’s skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was one of the first names to be on the list of nominations confirmed for the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) draft. She is one of three Indians on the list, alongside Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues.

Alongside the Indian contingent, the list also includes several English stars, with Heather Knight, Sophie Ecclestone, Danni Wyatt and Alice Capsey all putting their names. It doesn’t end there either, with South Africa’s skipper Laura Wolvaardt, who was part of the back-to-back title-winning Adelaide Strikers setup, also included.
From the men’s scheme of things, Shamar Joseph is one of the big-name attractions alongside Shadab Khan, Jamie Overton, Haris Rauf and James Vince. Vince, in particular, is a regular in the league, turning up for Sydney Sixers in multiple Big Bash League seasons.
