Shreyanka, Titas named in Australia ODIs; T20I squad unchanged

The three-match ODI series will be played at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai and will kickstart on December 28, 2023

The Indian Women’s team haven’t made any change to the T20I squad that took on England Women earlier this month for the series against Australia, but they have rung a wholesome change to the ODI outfit.

Eight players - Uma Chhetry, Priya Punia, Devika Vaidya, Anjali Sarvani, B Anusha, Meghna Singh, Rashi Kanojiya, and Monica Patel - who took part in the Bangladesh series in July have been left out of the squad. Meanwhile, Richa Ghosh, Saika Ishaque, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Renuka Thakur, and Titas Sadhu have made it to the squad for the Australia series at home.

The squad also features some reputed players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Sneh Rana, and Pooja Vastrakar - who also played a big role in India winning two back-to-back Test matches against England and Australia.

The three-match ODI series will be played at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai and will kickstart on December 28, 2023. The next two ODIs will be played on December 30, 2023 and January 02, 2024 respectively. The action will then shift to DY Patil, Navi Mumbai which will host the three T20Is on January 05, 2024, January 07, 2024 & January 09, 2024 respectively.
