3 Players SRH Would Look To Pick In IPL 2026 Trade Window
SRH, which looked a pale shadow of its 2024 self in the 2025 season, can get back to top form after ticking off these boxes in the IPL 2026 trade window
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a terrible Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. However, they managed to salvage some pride by winning a few matches in the last leg and avoiding a bottom three finish. However, in next season, the 2024 runners-up will look to shed some of the baggage and sign three new players during the IPL 2026 trade window.
Here are the three players that could be acquired by SRH during the IPL 2026 trade window, which will begin from July 4, 2025 onwards.

T Natarajan
Mohammad Shami, signed by the SRH franchise for a hefty sum of INR 10 Cr, turned out to be a total flop, picking up only six wickets in nine games at an average of 56, which is unacceptable from such a huge name. It is most likely that Hyderabad will look to seek an Indian player who can be a deadly death bowler and can throw in a few powerplay overs as well.

T Natarajan, who has previously featured for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, will fit the bill. For Delhi Capitals, the speedster was not always utilised, bowling just three overs and going for runs at more than 16 an over.
In his entire IPL career, Natarajan has been at his best at SRH, and it would only be fair that he goes back to where he is utilised the best. So far, the left-arm pacer has 65 wickets in 55 games for SRH.
Nathan Ellis
It wasn’t just Shami who was struggling with the ball in hand for the Orange brigade. Even the likes of Jaydev Unadkat and Harshal Patel weren’t able to do justice to their roles. To make sure that the bowling reserves of the SRH remain up to the mark and a serious match winner with the ball is found, they could acquire Nathan Ellis with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Ellis, who has experience of 161 T20s, hasn’t been given a free run in the IPL. If SRH can do that by keeping him alongside Pat Cummins and Natarajan in the playing 11, it could prove game-changing for them.
Suryansh Shedge
Another area where SRH lacked last season was the finishing act. If someone like Heinrich Klaasen got out early, they would not have anyone to go along with Aniket Verma. Suryansh Shedge, alongside Nitish Kumar Reddy, could also turn out to be a great all-round option apart from doing the finisher’s job.

Shedge, currently with the Punjab Kings, was not able to impress in his debut season. But come the next season and if he is offered the right batting position and given the ball at the correct juncture, the Mumbai man could be a handful.
