Jofra Archer got England off to a perfect start with the ball against Australia, as he got rid of Travis Head for just six. England had earlier set Australia a target of 352 in Match 4 of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Lahore, thanks to a superb 165 by opener Ben Duckett.
Head smashed the ball right back to Archer, who expected the ball to come at him way quicker. Nevertheless, the England pacer stuck out both his hands towards his left and completed a good catch.
Australia would have wanted the in-form Head to get a big score and stitch a substantial partnership with Matthew Short at the top. Steven Smith, too, was dismissed soon after Head's dismissal, leaving Australia in a spot of bother in pursuit of a massive target.
This is the first match of the Champions Trophy for both sides. They will take on South Africa and Afghanistan later in the tournament.
