WPL 2025 Venue Analysis: Limited Data Adds To Vadodara's Mystery
Vadodara will be making its debut in WPL by hosting the first leg of the 2025 edition
The third edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to begin from 14th February 2025 with Gujarat Giants (GG) hosting defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. It will be the first instance of a WPL game being held in Vadodara with the first six games scheduled to be held at this venue till February 19th.
There is limited amount of records available from the Kotambi Stadium as there have only been a total of six Women’s T20 games played here, all during the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy in October 2024. The venue made its international debut in the three-match bilateral ODI series between India and West Indies in December 2024.
