Before the league’s resumption, not only was SKY MI’s best batter but also had the Orange Cap, showing his remarkable consistency. Across 12 innings, SKY has smashed 510 runs, and with the clash at the Wankhede Stadium, expect him to come good.
Trent Boult has flown under the radar this season, with 18 wickets, the joint third-most in the league. The left-arm pacer has always given MI the bright start, and with DC’s top-order struggling to find form, there’s a good chance that his left-arm could spell the death knell.
Unlike previous years, the Wankhede Stadium hasn’t been that high-scoring, as the average runs/wicket at the venue is 27, the fifth-least in the league. However, MI have managed to outscore their opponents at the venue, where their average is much higher (31.6). Expect similar results when MI take on DC.
